Amplifier Game Invest Starts New Company

Amplifier Game Invest starts new game company Studio Hermitage Amplifier Game Invest, a subsidiary of Embracer Group forms a new game company in Raleigh, North Carolina, named Studio Hermitage. Under the leadership of game development veterans Paxton Galvanek, Justin Achilli, and Andy Foltz, Studio Hermitage aims to build a lasting transmedia game company, creating new IPs for a wide range of platforms and formats.

The experience and expertise they bring, not only to the new studio, but also to the Amplifier Game Invest group itself is tremendous, and we are very happy to see our Startup Subsidiary model being a great fit for their plans for the future”, says Per-Arne Lundberg, CEO of Amplifier Game Invest. 

 

Studio Hermitage will start off by focusing on world-building and the development of a new IP, to find the right fit for the upcoming games, and slowly building a team of 20+ creatives, primarily in the Raleigh area. The founding trio has a combined experience from the game industry of over 70 years and will soon launch their recruitment efforts. “I’m truly excited and honored to embark on this new opportunity with Andy and Justin, together with Amplifier Game Invest, and I look forward to sharing more information with you soon. Studio Hermitage becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Amplifier Game Invest AB, joining the ranks of 14 other game development companies already part of the Amplifier group. Amplifier Game Invest is one of the twelve operative groups within Embracer Group.
